Childhood and Pre-teen Years
Carter was born into a semi-decent life. Left on the steps of St. Jude's Catholic Church, the nuns and three of the six bishops took care of him. Growing up in a religious world wasn't easy for Carter. It was even harder for him being born without the use of his legs. While he able to feel them, he can't move them, which angers him but also makes him happy. He went to all the church meetings and services, but he never felt like it was right to him. He never felt God wanted him to go church to worship him; and even more, Carter never felt proof was given that he truly existed. He told this to his adoptive parents, and explained it all when he was only 8. The intelligence that he gave was enough for them not to make him go to church if he didn't want to, but a decision some of them didn't like. He knew he disappointed them, so he signed himself up for a special boarding school, Hemingway's School For The Gifted, in the United Kingdom, and had them do the rest of the work. His scores was beyond more than enough for him to get in to the school. He went to all meetings, services and masses that month before leaving. He wanted to leave them with the notion that he wasn't going to give up on God completely. He just believed that he needed proof and that a building of worship might not be out of the question.
His arrival at the school caused some minor friction as his laid back attitude made him the mark for many of the students. He barely liked do his school work, and was more interested in Video Games and creating new things out of nothing. Excelling in these two, he took the school to many robotic competitions, and won a few of them. Getting older, Carter had yet to make friends. Not that he wanted to, but he a problem that was making it hard to talk to people. The problem was his brain constantly thinking and creating new ideas. This caused him to bring his ideas to reality, and without knowing what they do. To do this was making Carter's life miserable, and caused him to force people away from him.
